I was really thinking of snagging alycorn’s Stupidity user icon now.

Just to recap:

• My webcam still refuse to cooperate, even with a new USB PCI card 😣
• My notebook is discharged, but the service charges they charges me is like… for NOTHING! My notebook doesn’t get fixed AT ALL X(. ARGH!!!!

Anyway… tons of headache-inducing events are occuring now. Just hope I can manage it.

Oh yeah, just jinxed around with my compie stuff yesterday and I notice it’s not my aunt’s computer which is spoilt yesterday, but only the network card ^^”. So now I had 3 computers running back at home (excluding the notebook, which I’ll mention about it later), and I have NO idea how to arrange them in such a constrained desk space.

So now I had the (less) painful spoilt hardware list: A notebook, a laser printer, a network switch, a network card and a USB2.0 PCI card.

Luckily the USB and network card is still under warranty so I’ll be doing just that later. Be checking out my notebook later, hope it’ll be “discharged” today. It’s been two months since his absence.

Today’s pretty much a slow day… I woke up very late today, 1:30 in the afternoon, to be exact. @_@ The printer service staff wasn’t here today, which does somewhat make me quite furious >.<”. Think I might give them another call tomorrow.

So as expected, my mood isn’t getting anywhere from cheery lately… you know, with all those spoilt hardware lying around and extremely annoying warranty claims to make. OK, maybe I shouldn’t be that bothered, but then again that thought isn’t getting anywhere from lifting my moods up. 😞

Great… it seemed that I have been facing a lot of computer annoyances lately, which the list includes: Malfunction or Spoilt Hardware: One desktop (my aunt’s), one laptop (still in service… after two months 😣 ), a webcam which still refuse to cooperate, …and the latest entry: A spoilt laser printer!

ARGH! I wonder whether all my computer stuff is trying to form a union or something and decided to strike at times like this. This is reaaaally annoying X(.

I’m going to check on my laptop on Sunday, just called tech support for my laser printer, hope those staff get here by tommorrow… soon! I don’t want to lock myself in the house just to wait for them ;_;.

On the bright side of things, my CDs arrived today, which includes Virginelle’s …

Currently doing some updating stuff (read: security patches)

When I access to LJ, I noticed that the the Live Post Stats is pretty… strange :p. Imagine seeing a perfect 18000 post/hour and 300/minute kind of numbers while you access LiveJournal.

Yesterday was pretty much a mixture of good and bad: Choon Hui seemingly giving me the impression that he’s giving me the cold shoulders during the workshop :(. Well… he’s extremely busy lately with work and stuff, which is really understandable, but I somewhat can’t help but feeling a bit lonely at times like this.

Anyway, the good stuff is that my computer finally worked, stupid CPU front-side bus (FSB) jumper setting! So I pretty much spent the whole day fiddling with it :). And yeah for DVDs and super fast CD ripping!

The downside? My notebook hard drive and …

ARGH! I still can’t seem to install Windows XP into my computer! stabs!

Anyway… My aunt locked herself out from room yesterday by accident, with all her room keys inside it o_O”. Hmm… I hope there wasn’t a virus that causes absent-mindedness.

Luckily the locksmith managed to get it opened today, it took him about an hour though :p.

Later on will be my programming workshop, which equates to quality time with Choon Hui again <3. (Yeah, maybe I’m just obsessive-compulsive XD)

Well… just hope that I can get my computer up by today T-T.

Nothing much happened, but here’s a rundown of what happened yesterday:

• Bought a new barebones desktop (i.e. Just the CPU) with one grand Malaysian Ringgit. icky-achy heart But the only consolation I can give to myself is that I got a DVD combo drive > I can enjoy the DVDs I had.

• Halfway on my journey home, I notice that I left my bag in the restaurant o_O”. So there I go, going all the way back while it’s drizzling outside (and with the heavy CPU on my hands), then walking for quite a distance with the heavy burden. Luckily my bag is still there.

  Moral of the story: It’s better to have a car when you decided to shop for anything heavy.

  And I definitely need a cure for absent-mindedness.

Yesterday is the best time I had for quite a while: it’s the first time I ever have the longest time I had with him alone, strolling around the campus… Actually we are walking around the new campus to plan out the campus for the freshmen who is coming next January.

But even though it is work related… I’m just… happy… I can’t really find a word better than that.

However… when I reach back home, all of a sudden… I just feel like my heart is completely painted in blue. All of a sudden, something just suddenly loom upon me, with myself being engulfed by my own greedy desires.

Missing someone is a good thing… but coupled with really strong and greedy desires is something really bad.

Considering that I didn’t post yesterday, it can only mean one thing: I’m still not connected to the Internet back home :(. Apparently I still can’t figure out how to make my Windows 95 machine to talk to the Internet. 😞

Anyway, yesterday is pretty frustrating, my aunt’s computer dead all of a sudden, my switch suddenly got fried or something, the new modem works perfectly but I still can’t get online X(. dies

Thinking of getting a small form factor PC back home, but that would really bang me another grand from my loan money (darn you computers! BLA-ZZZZ) Anyway, as if I had a choice… :’(. (meaning: Less money to buy other stuff)

Other than that, I’m going to have some quality time with Choon Hui ❤ ^^. Well… of course …
