The Element of Constrast
Just came back from watching Mr and Mrs Smith with Jacob. 😊 They movie is a good watch, honestly I was expecting more action than comedy but it turns out to be a comedy with some action elements in it. The great thing I really liked about the movie is that it uses a lot of elements of contrast in the whole movie: everything including the visuals, character development, plot, the pacing of the movie… the most interesting part is how they twist the man/woman stereotype in certain aspects that make Pitt and Jolie interesting to watch 😊 (probably I would say that they are dysfunctional from my own point of view :p).
However, as said, it’s only a good comedy, not a great one. The jokes are more like “OMG! Did she/he do …

Theen Gee left this morning as I was still asleep, he left a note hoping me to take care of myself. It’s been two months having a room mate and his departure does make me kinda lonely this morning.
But today I just took the initiative to clean up the room, as I do notice that my own room is a total disaster. Probably some things are more noticeable when the absence of some things. And so I almost spent the whole day rearranging my stuff, sweeping away the piling dusts, give the floor the finishing mop as well as clearing away some of the junk that I have kept all this while. It now looks much more cleaner right now :). At least it’s much more agreeable now (as in, for a person …

Yesterday wasn’t really a good day for me as I found myself having a heavy heart for no apparent reason (well… there might be a reason, but it’s really something that I can’t really comprehend well, in a sense) Sometimes I do wonder whether people can influence each other feelings, even just by being close to them. But probably there’s just too much not-so-happy incidents happening to my friends that I’m really concern about them.
Anyway, Theen Gee, who has been my roommate for 2 months, will be moving as his industrial training is over (and his semester is going to start on next month). There’ll be a farewell dinner for him tonight. That pretty much means that I’ll having the room for myself, which I really have …

The good thing is that Grandia II (PC) came into the mail yesterday. The bad thing is that because of that I’m late for work (i.e. played Grandia II until late at night). ^-^|| The initial battle with Millenia bug really wasted my time XDDD.
I wonder what will happen if I happened to get Final Fantasy IX (PS) next month…? 😛
Anyway, for those who frequent eBay for games, I really need to know how am I suppose to recognize a legit copy of the game from bootlegs? Your help will be greatly appreciated ^-^b.
Something That I Noticed
It always seems to me that the people closest to me, usually friends, are mostly Libras. Hmmm…. Is it just me or I’m noticing some strange demographics around me :p.
Anyway, not much to do, but I do have my moments when I feel like I have go back to square one in some aspects. Nothing major though.
First Mission Complete!
Finally I handed in my research assignment for the job. Phew! I was so nervous when I handed it in actually as I don’t really know what to expect from my boss. And what made me even more nervous is that he skimmed through it on the spot, and I feel like I have been exposed naked in a closed room surrounded with air-conditioners capable of blowing strong, cold air at sub-zero temperatures.
Apart from some mistakes on my part, I’m pretty glad that I did quite a good job, at least better than being mediocre. But of course I really don’t want to speculate how much marks I would get from there.
And saying so, that pretty much signifies a beginning when my real work and responsibilities will start :). I’m …

My friend, Kok Weng, got called in for the second phase of the interview test in my department today, I would really like to congratulate him for making this far and I’m really happy and proud of him :). I really wish him the best of luck! 😉
My friend, Raymond (and probably Alvin as well), left for Penang yesterday. Hopefully they will be treated well there, as (if I’m not wrong) they left their own homes for the very first time. I hope for the best in their first job as well as a great stay over there.
And as for Choon Hui… I’m really glad that he’s kick starting his own plans in furthering his studies, and he’s currently working on with his IELTS (so that he can study overseas …

Just got this yesterday 😊
I still remembered that I got the book (Tarot In The Spirit of Zen, top right hand corner in the picture) as I first started learning the Tarot (My first book is Tarot for Dummies though :p), and I really liked the Zen’s interpretation of the cards and I knew that I have to get the deck of cards. And so now I have them <3.
I personally did a few readings for myself and I do have gained a lot of insight about my own being. Guess I will be using the cards much often for daily meditation or such. 😉
I’m Now Bound To Pay Taxes XDDD
FIRST.PAY.CHEQUE! <3<3<3
Oh gosh this is exciting :D. I should be hyper excited right now if not the fact that I have insurance and other expenses to pay off this month :p. But it’s OK since I do have a lot of room to spare for some small goodies for myself ^^.
But at the same time probably 12836128631 items in my wishlist has to be put on hold at the moment XDDDD. Guess putting reality into the picture does make my base pay extremely low XDDDD. But then again, nobody says that entertainment has to have a higher priority than survival ;).
Now all I need is to shove away most of my money before my shopaholic habit kicks in :p.
A Day When The Wind Blows Cold
OK, the title has nothing to do with my emotional state, but I was literally describing the weather today as the wind blows really strong today this afternoon. It almost seems like a typhoon is coming as the violent gush of cold wind blows through any opening window that it can enter. Although it wasn’t as strong to the point of blowing anything flying around the place, but the cold is greatly unbearable that I have to go to my room with all my windows shut tight.
As for my day… well, things are a little bit unproductive, but it’s pretty good for a time when I’m feeling slightly tired throughout the day. And by any chance, tomorrow’s another day :).
