Just a recap, I went for a karaoke outing of seven persons, which includes two of my friends (cum colleague, I think I’ll refer them as “friends” from now on 😊 ), Sook Lan and Sze Hau. Spending three hours of quality entertainment time does gave me a great sense of fun as well as a dry throat. What really excites me is that Red Box (the karaoke that we went to) have some newer Ayu songs, namely CAROLS and Moments :). So I’m in a Ayu singing craze when I was there :D. Just a quickie about yesterday: - Went to the bank to get one of my saving account closed (I’m starting to have too much bank accounts to handle), then transfer some funds to fixed deposit. Currently I’m starting my own financial plans… although it’s more of an ad hoc kind of plan :p.

Today had been a very jerky day to me as I find myself stumbling through the day with some communication problem on my part. Honestly speaking there’s no big problem that arise from it, but sometimes I just feel a bit left out, inferior and frustrated when I can’t seem to voice my thoughts out well as well as trying to get in tuned with the conversation that is going on. At times like this I really get kinda jealous with those with good communication skills like my friends (cum colleague) Sook Lan and Eng Lee (I suppose it’s a good time for me to introduce a few more people in my own life 😊 ).

But seeing that I’m not gifted in this department, I guess tomorrow’s another day for me …

Just out of some sort of excitement I finally get to realize one of my smaller dreams of commitment: getting a .com for myself :). So now I have just paid for felixleong.com, it will take around 24-72 hours before it gets live, but then again I have nothing to post on that site just yet :p.

This should give me enough motivation to start my own web project that I always wanted to expand :). (my manga drawing tutorial site, Felix Leong:PEDAGOGIES, being part of that big project)

In other news, I just finished with cleaning the window grills, which the dust count in my room has dropped significantly. Currently planning to clear up my computer table area, and I will post before and after pictures once I got everything done :).

Speaking of the 2005 makeover plans, it’s been quite some time I haven’t done much about it lately. Well… seeing that I’m going to stick with my physical appearance for some time (well… since I can’t find enough reason to spend more on these stuff as I find myself spending much less time going out lately), so I’m currently spending time cleaning up my own living space and see whether it’ll bring a change in lifestyle (Hmm… Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, anyone? :p)

Just went back to my parents’ place during the weekend, although I was expecting some relaxation, but in the end it turns out to be quite the opposite as I find myself going out places to meet up with some of my high school friends :). But it has been good times.

Well… honestly I wouldn’t say everything is great for me as I just feel that everything back here has changed… it wasn’t the same feeling anymore when I talked to some friends. But my sister said something that really put things into perspective “… Or is it I’m the one who has changed?”. Hmm…

It’s been four days now after my dreaded sickness and now I’m still having some really bad stomach pain today which slightly affect my own well-being. I find myself cursing at it a lot and prayed that I’ll get better ASAP. (Hopefully…)

And due to my own lack of appetite, it does seems that my glucose intake is insufficient for my brain activity, which makes me hard to concentrate as well as having the dizzy sensation. Bleh…

In other news, my convocation date is set at 6 August 2005, and this time round I’ll make sure I’ll attend it with my family (since I missed my college graduation last time). And a new colleague just joined in this week :), he does seem quiet and kinda cold on the outset for …

In case anyone is wondering what happened for the past two days, I have a the worst case of illness for the years that I can remember. Probably because of a nastier flu or food poisoning. Sparing you with the gruesome details, all I can say that these two days I have been having a fever, two occasions of vomit, endless stream of diarrhoea (GOD this is hard to spell!), nasty bloating together with lots of burping, lost of appetite, having my head feeling like a helium ballon in one occassion and other minor nuisances.

Just don’t ask me any sort of Nickolodeon-style “gross” questions :p.

But somehow I feel a lot better after this, physically (well… not quite, as I’m still recovering from it) and emotionally. As if some burden has been …
