These few days I have been doing more English work than programming, all because of a technical specification I have written, which is meant to challenge the techincal editor recruits (and believe me, I have the knack of putting up a challenge for myself and others :p).

And no doubt I’m proud that my pre-school education (I was home schooled in English before I enrolled in Chinese medium kindergarten), years of being secretaries for societies and my love for languages and writing has paid off :). But probably that also means that my workload will be increased? But I don’t mind if I can learn things from this experience. ^-^ (Yet again, my purpose here is to do programming/development work. ARGH! The dillema XDD)

In other news, I’m now reading The Leader In …

After a whole day of marathoning The Count of Monte Cristo, I’m just need to complete the last, climatic 100 pages of reading. And damn this has to be one of the longest novel I have read since The Lord of The Rings as I’m reading the original, English translated version of the novel which spans about 1100 pages (including the translation notes) in 7.5 pt font. O_O||

But anyway, it’s really a good read :). Although I do have to say that the heavy references of the French Revolution really put me off initially (I admit the fact that I really suck in history, in fact I have almost forgotten all historical facts that I can muster :p. And as an additional mention, this is my second attempt to “conquer” this …

First time ever that I have to come for overtime, not to mention that we are not paid extra for it :P.

But nevertheless it is not that bad, in fact it was pretty fun as I have company here :). Anyway, just came here to finish a specification for the purpose of hiring a technical editor: Or put it plainly, the boss is hiring somebody to correct our English.

Hmmm… and now I’m hungry and yet I’m still in the office… tummy growls

Didn’t update yesterday as I’m not really in the mood of typing my entry :(. Anyway, the important thing now is that I’m feeling much better now.

Anyway, Eurobeat Disney 3 and Aerobeat Dance Pop Version 2 came in the mail two days ago :D. Although first impression wise, Eurobeat Disney 3 sounds very lackluster to me as those Eurobeat artists sounds strangled from their powerful vocals (especially Mickey B., poor thing 😞 ). But it does sounds OK after a few runs. Aerobeat Dance Pop Version 2 on the other hand sounds good :D, it doesn’t have those really mismatching and annoying soundeffects that Aerobeat Eurobeat has, so that’s a big plus for them :). (Although they do inject a lot of extra sound effects like vynil scratching, all those “Heys~”, “Hoo~” and …

Some of my old, timid behaviour seems to come back to me. As I thought that my transformation is complete, the reality strikes me with the fact that I have more things to achieve in order to do just that.

Till then, my mood swings very badly when I get really agitated. Blergh…

I “discovered” this quite unexpectedly, that this line is written on a page by a friend of mine.

“或许放弃及损失，在许多情况下，并不是错误的决定，最终还会让自己获得更多。”

Translation: “Maybe (something will cause you to) give up and being at a loss, but a lot of times, it is not the wrong decision, in the end it’ll let benefit you even more.”

I’ll leave the interpretation to you all :).

Felt much better right now. It does seems that there’s a lot of things that I have been supressing in the past in the forms of self control, social conditionings and conjured fantasies (rated M by the ESRB)… and every supressed thoughts came to haunt me back to a point that really scares me: That it is possible for me to become insane and engage in violent behaviour.

Only that I realise that supression is also a human thought of a hidden intention, it’s like a seed planted in our own thinking and eventually it’ll grow and manifests in our own beings. And it will bring its effect later in life. And without notice, I have been caged into the darkness that I have created myself…

My handphone has officially been declared to have that slithering ability to slip out from my pocket without me being notice. And that made me very anxious just now, luckily it was in Sook Lan’s car ^^||. Phew… But that thought really freaked me out.

In a way, this week isn’t really much of a good week for me -_-||. But I suppose there’s something I can learn from these experiences (as trivial and minor as they seem), maybe I should start by buying a chain to chain my phone up so that it won’t slip out from my pocket?
