Bad Signal Day
Not going specifically into detail… but let’s just say that I had a bad day today. Just one of those days when everything isn’t right… well, at least in terms of physical health and having myself being emo (somewhat).
And for some unknown reasons I did notice that I’m into some kind of denial phase… 😒 I dunno, just sorta kept a lot of stuff inside these days…
It’s some internal spring cleaning time again!
Accoutant
For the past few days, I have been working on my finances that I felt like an accountant :p.
The real news? My probation period is now officially over and I did get some extra money :D. But I do need to wait until my payslip arrives before I can confirm anything in black and white (as well as a basis to plan out where they should go).
Well… at least I don’t have to worry about my emergency funds any more :), I had save enough! 😄
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Ha ha, I’m into my splurging mood again and I got the DVD <3<3<3. I watched it once thanks to my brother a few months back (a downloaded fansub, obviously :p), and I did made a comment about it a few months back so I don’t want to repeat myself again.
One of the great things that I’m very appreciative for is that they kept the Japanese audio track intact together with the English one :D! Too bad they didn’t have Japanese subtitles or I would have worshipped them XD. (but the only use of those kind of subtitles are just for me to learn my Japanese, and guess I have to struggle my way through to catch what they are saying without any text scripts)
Obviously I watched …

Finally I got time to finish the whole Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince (I was halfway through the book after my weekday reading before my working hours)! I was initially glad that the whole flow, structure and even the storyline construct has the same magical feeling like the first four books (The Order of the Phoenix, in my opinion, is more or less a diversion of writing style).
But somehow, after reading the whole thing… I just felt that, unlike the first four books, it’s really a book that you can’t read it in a standalone fashion and it really gave me the feeling that Book 5 (The Order of the Phoenix) to Book 7 (which is ultimately going to be the last book) are so closely tied together (with all the …

Feeling a taste of bitterness… Being jealous.
As much as I understand everyone needs their own space and privacy… but sometimes… sigh I really don’t know how to say. Just felt all bitter inside me without any strong basis to be disappointed about.
That really made me think… whether is it that I don’t know what others are thinking, or that I don’t know what I’m thinking myself. 😞
Departure
It was a heavy-hearted day yesterday as it was Sook Lan’s last day in the company. It was kinda hard to bear seeing her empty desk right opposite me. For the past year, she has been given me a lot of support and a source of inspiration in dealing with myself and others. In many ways, I have looked up to her as a very close friend and mentor.
It was only a year since I worked here and having myself seeing people coming and going does make it more clear that… everyone is an individuals with different ideals and goals… and through the passing of time, it’s inevitable that everyone, in some way or the other, will move on and go separate ways.
Thinking about it… that pretty much includes myself… And …

Just watched The Da Vinci’s Code :), and apparently it was a pretty good movie. Well, probably due to the fact that I didn’t read the book yet and I have less reasons to have myself disappointed about (like the Harry Potter movies :p). But treating most parts as fiction and not involving any sentimentality/emotions/opinions to it (well, probably due to the fact that I’m not a Christian myself?), it’s really interesting to ponder about religion, politics and how belief will affect one’s judgement towards certain matters. That alone is a very vast area to actually put into words and it definitely worth some thought later on.
And in other news, I just got myself Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince :D… of course that pretty much implied …

Remember Theen Gee, my friend and short-term room mate last year around the month of May (as well)? 😊 His now back, he’ll be sharing my room for a month before moving to his rented room :).
And the good news that he is now graduated and will be working for The Star.
And it’s going to be a great month to be experienced. And I really enjoyed talking and sharing life experience with him always :). And just talking with him sometimes really made me discovered new insights within myself and in a way, change my life in a subtle manner.
Well~ he came with his younger brother, although he is quite quiet, but he’s also very friendly. And seeing the close bond between them, the warmth is pretty contagious. 😊
Going to watch Da …

My body is now showing signs of being worn out (i.e. becoming weak and prone to sickness), and sometime by the evening I felt really like catching a fever or a flu ._.
But some rest definitely helped as I felt better, at least for now.
Definitely need to take good care of my body :).
In other news, I got two more CDs from eBay today: SEB 95 as well as Nicki French’s Total Eclipse of The Heart :D.
Grounding
Just in case, I got a surge protector for my house phone + ADSL connection, and since I need to get it grounded somewhere, I end up with a solution like this one:
Hmm…. I really wondered whether this is going to work.
As for today, I felt pretty much on a tight rope today. Got very confused in several occasions… Does made me feel like shrinking back to my own shell or something… Sigh… challenges can sometimes be hard to cope with some times.
In other news~ Dr Tay has just become a father to a baby boy! 😄
