This is really something out of the blue: I got myself a DVD writer :D. To be honest, it wasn’t on my top priority list (among all my wish list items), but just happened that:

• I found that my photo collection is piling up and I’m nervous without a backup
• I’m picking up the habit to download anime 😛
• Apparently this is one of the lowest priced items (excluding books and CDs) in the list

Just burned two DVDs just now and I’m glad that I have something to rely on when it comes to data backup :). But the only headache is that I still have a whole stack of blank CDRs… but well, the burner can support them anyway.

In other news, I had that feeling that chapter 6 is coming …

Been downloading anime lately, it’s been a while I really spent time to relax myself a bit.

Just finished downloading いちご100% (Strawberry 100%), and the whole thing just screams “HAREM!!!” at me XDDD. But putting aside my brain and asking it to stop labelling cliches, it’s just some simple fun and enjoyment :).

Somehow I didn’t really had a good day, actually… just feeling all screwed up with my work today. To some extent, someone who has a perfectionist tendency like myself do felt as if it were the end of the world and all my merits gone down the drain in one incident. I think that’s probably the same feeling when I scored badly in exams on several occasions…

To be honest, carrying myself through to continue to perform the task …

Reading from a blog that the ISP that I’m using has upgraded the speed limit for some of its subscriber, I was surprised that mine was upgraded to a 2MB download/512K upload connection :D.

… But on the downside, there are some difficulties during the past few days for me to access to Google and Wikipedia. Certainly those hiccups weren’t supposed to happen and that was a really big inconvenience to me. I have to resort to Yahoo! only to find out that their search results weren’t as good as Google’s.

Other than that, I have find myself using my graphics tablet more often. It’s been a while I have really drew anything, and it’s still fun as I knew it was :D.

And… I switched to another theme …

… Apparently when I really think that I do have the whole week off, it might not be the case.

Just a few days before I did mention that work may be creeping into my holidays (after receiving a few system support calls), just before Hari Raya/Eid’s eve that the system suffered enough problems that causes almost all the electronic gaming tables not being able to operate.

And to be honest I was in a panic drive myself ^^||… what make it worse is that I didn’t really understood the weight of the issue until my colleagues called me up. And as things turns out, I ended up not really being able to rest for the two days of Hari Raya as I find myself either being in the casino to do troubleshooting or …

Just watched Steamboy on Animax just now, the graphics were stunning, but the plot was complicated (more like confusing) that I think I’d probably need to watch it a few times in order to extract any real meaning from this. But… probably I won’t have the motivation to watch it again :p.

Been getting books on stock investing, well… at least that’s part of my plan to start to have some sort of a second income source. I’d say it’s almost completely greek to me, as I can’t seem to register those financial concepts in my head. And sometimes things like human psychology, politics and economics were giving me the dizziness (well… probably I WAS locked into my own little world after all… ^^||).

But anyway, the plan is that …

Let’s see… Deepavali/Diwali’s tomorrow, Hari Raya/Eid ul-Fitr is on next Tuesday and Wednesday, and seeing that all these days were a national holiday, the company declared Monday as a compulsory leave… Top that up with two more annual leaves of mine on Thursday and Friday, and what I have now is nine days of total relaxation! (Sort of :p)

To be honest, I didn’t have plans to take a vacation somewhere or going back to my hometown. Well, it’s not that I have any reason not to do those, but I just don’t really feel like going anywhere. (as much as I would like a vacation somewhere, but going alone is not what I had in mind at the moment) Probably I would be facing questions on why …

Let’s see… It has been weeks I last went to the gym due to many reasons, guess I broke the “fast” yesterday 😛

And after a full year, finally our department don’t have to work that hard to get that ISO9001:2000 certification as we have been through the last certification audit. A successful achievement, I would say :).

And today we just went to Eden to have Vivian’s farewell party, which means that I have been seeing four people leaving from our office ever since I came in. It’s a very hard feeling to describe, it’s like… you know that a departure is inevitable, and yet I still have that mental vision that everyone will always be around. But that feeling aside, the food was really tasty over there :D. Love …

Currently doing some last minute packing, and I’m feeling sleepy X_X… not to mention that I need to catch the cab at 10:30 in the morning (meaning: 6 hours later): Thanks to myself hanging around too long at Wikipedia reading stuff that brought me down the memory lane (notably: Ultraman).

By most circumstances I won’t be updating my LJ for this week, as I will be up at Genting Highlands to work for a whole week. Basically I’m up there to assist the installation of a new system and standby to troubleshoot any problems that arose. Hopefully the whole thing will go smoothly. But somehow I do feel a bit anxious as I’m definitely not prepared… >_<

Finally~ I got my hands on Domino’s self title album and Maharaja Night Hi-NRG Revolution Vol.9! I have been wanting these two albums for years I’m really excited to finally bought them ^-^v.

Just listened to Domino’s album and Domino always has the ability to cheer people up with her upbeat tunes :D. This album is really a godsend after a hard day’s work! 😸

And… well… to be honest, my interest in collecting Eurobeat has always been supported by my insistence in getting MNHR9, it’s like “well… let me just get something else until MNHR9 comes along!”. Currently I’m fine tuning my computer a bit, as well as converting my CD collection back to MP3 again X_X. Well… it really can’t be helped since a new MP3 player is in the cards (although I think I’m setting back the plan to buy a new one much later… probably middle of next year? But more likely it’d be by the time when my favourite musics start to accumulate to 20GB).

As well, I’m still realigning (at least attempt to) my plans, as in things that I wanted to do. There’s seems like mountains of stuff that I wanted to do X_X|||. I think my persistence has been tested for a lot of times in the past with mixed results, but… well, it’s just another go to …
