Impromptu: Distance

Seh Hui Leong

Writing

What’s the distance between you and me? Seems so close, yet so far away.

Only to realise that the only distance between you and me is not other than myself believing that the distance exists.

Fleeting Emotions

Seh Hui Leong

Life

After a whole week of holidays, it’s now time to go down to earth and continue with my own working life. As much as it did seem that I’m not really adjusted to my normal lifestyle (I woke up late today :p), I feel pretty motivated to go back to work again. Well, guess I didn’t waste my holidays at all, got my batteries recharged back. Or probably it shows that I’m feeling right at home in the office with my colleagues? Or probably it’s just that one special reason… ^-^

For one thing, the thing that I’m most glad of is that Sook Lan and Sze Hau is back in the office today. The office seems so different without them last week :).

Anyway, during midday, all of a sudden …

As For Today…

Seh Hui Leong

Life

And as for today, Stanley dropped by to Kuala Lumpur today. It’s came to a very shocking surprise to see him completely different — at least physically. He seems to be more physically fit and stylish. Hmm… does make me wonder what actually happened to him? 😛 (This kinda remind me: How shocked people are when I do my image change? LOL) He came with his friend, Danny, and he’s currently studying in UTAR (which is the same university that I graduated from). We get to chat a lot and it’s pretty fun :).

And what really surprising is that I never expect to see Super Dance Freak (SDF) volume 84 here in Malaysia :D. Not to mention that it’s in the budget corner as well :D. Snatched it together with S.E.S …

From Port Dickson To Petaling Jaya

Seh Hui Leong

Life

Rewinding back to Thursday as we went to Port Dickson (it’s one of Malaysia’s popular tourist destination, once popular for its beautiful beaches). This time we have even more people joining the fun, 10 to be exact: Sze Hau, Sook Lan and her husband, Hui Ying, Francis, Seng Yaw and his girlfriend, Yuen Hui and her brother and myself.

It’s around noon when Hui Ying, Francis and myself gathering at A&W near my place, waiting for Sze Hau to drive us there. It’s pretty surprising to see Sze Hau looking a little bit different after his one week vacation to Korea: he seems to look more handsome and cheerful than before. Somehow I really wonder whether is it just me or it’s my… umm, distorted mental image playing games …

Impromptu: Million Illusions

Writing

I’m nothing more than a being of a million illusions.

Graphic Tablet Fun! :D

Seh Hui Leong

Art

Yay! Got the tablet running in both Windows and Linux! 😄

Now I’m having fun just do some random scribbles and experimenting how to make realistic digital paint effects :).

Randomly scribbled this:

'Random Art' by Seh Hui

And just thinking of having more organic lines to my artwork and web page designs are really making me excited! 😄

In other news, going to Port Dickson tomorrow! 😄

Corpse Bride

Seh Hui Leong

Life

Went out with Jacob, Melody and Hui Ling today to watch Corpse Bride today.

It’s really a great movie to watch. There’s nothing really new to the storyline, what’s really refreshing about it is most of main plot and transitions are performed in song — It’s almost like watching a musical or sorts. So instead of most animated features that songs seems to be like fillers, the songs in the movie has a lot of substance, which almost conveys a lot of information, dialogue and mood to the film.

Not to mention the puns, funny wordplay and the coordinating verbal and visual humour (mostly in the world of the dead scenes) the production team has put in. Some are really smart that I really laugh a lot at it.

And the love …

Reading Of The Day: The Problem as an Ego Tonic

Seh Hui Leong

Excerpts

Somehow when I’m reading this, I just can’t stop laughing at myself: It’s like… I’m fully aware of this and this topic has been covered many times in self-help books, and yet I’m still foolishly forgetful.

Hmm… probably my LJ would become less and less of a diary and more and more of an archive of readings and experiences? 😊

Anyway, I believe this would be beneficial to all.

Impromptu: Perceived Reality

Seh Hui Leong

Writing

Everytime when I see/think of you, is that image of you a projection of my own perceived reality, or is it a reflection of myself that I’m unaware of?

One Step Closer To Completion

Seh Hui Leong

Life

Almost got the final, finishing touches to get all my needed software installed. Then my Linux system will be as good as my Windows system :).

Bwee~ This is exciting :), I’m bi-OS-literate :p.

Anyway, still pretty indecisive whether I should buy myself a notebook hard drive portable casing, a drawing tablet, an SEB CD that I wanted or a webhosting package. It’s really hard to decide because I had a notebook hard drive lying around piling dust (ever since my notebook died last year), I always wanted a graphic tablet so that I can do more computer art, my Eurobeat obsession needs to be fulfilled (Hah! Sucker!) and I wanted to host my future site up.

Hmm… priorities, priorities…

But anyway, probably I might get a webhost this month, and see whether …
