Sometimes, even the simplest words, the simplest gestures can be the best, loving gift that one can receive.

Just today I was reminded the joke about the elephant, the giraffe and the fridge, the joke goes something like this:

How do you put an elephant into the fridge? Answer: Open the fridge door, put the elephant in, and close the door.

How do you put a giraffe into the fridge? Answer: Open the fridge door, take out the elephant, put the giraffe in, and close the door.

Thinking about it, it just reminded me the lesson that I kept on forgetting: How many times we have been paralysing ourselves with what we called as “knowledge”? How many times we have make our thoughts overly complicated that we have the tendency to think of thousand of imaginary parameters that we think that will “block” our progress?

Anyway, full story: We have a small (pre-)Christmas party in the office today, and we have agreed to do an exchange of gifts at the end of the party. And so~ we ordered Domino’s pizza and have a fun time listening to Christmas songs and such.

Our gift exchange is pretty much determined by random, as we draw numbered lots to see which present we are going to take home :). I got this cute keyboard wrist cushion from Hui Ying :D. It’s so adorable that I couldn’t resist hugging it or something :p.

Highlighted gift of the day is definitely:

• A ladle, from Seck Min to Boon Yeow
• A potty full of jelly, from Francis to Seng Yaw XDDD.

Oh god I laughed so …

Been spending days maintaining websites of my own. It’s been a while I finally made my move, having myself being unproductive for quite some time.

Anyway, currently starting work for FelixLeong.com, in which I started migrating The Digital Blue Wave (my technical blog) over to my server and starting やっぱり！の世界で (Yappari! no Sekai de), my own blog which is going to be a much light-hearted blog in Japanese, considering my skills in Japanese dead limited to write anything serious XDDDD. Seems to me like it’s going to be a good complement to my LJ.

My emotions today seems to be blanketed by clouds: Feeling heavy inside, yet it doesn’t seem to be capable to rain.

It’s quite confusing actually, even if I feel some heavy and burdened inside, but I don’t feel sad or annoyed by it.

Is it the accumulated feelings for you that never get expressed?

Really wanted to say “I love you”, but I really don’t want to say it under such emotional weather…

I never knew that my brother and sister has started their blogs :D. How did I discovered them? Both on Friendster, but in different ways.

I noticed my brother’s blog first, but it wasn’t that hard because he started his blog over Friendster so I definitely get a email notification about it. As for my sister, it’s until I read her profile with great attention that I noticed the link of her MSN Space.

As I flip through their posts, I just can’t stop laughing from time to time. It’s kinda heart-warming, in a way, since in every word they wrote, I just feel like I’m listening to them ramble just about anything. Somehow it did remind me that as much we are different in many ways, we also …

The changes of life is on how you look at life itself.

人生的变化曲折都是你如何看待人生而已。

这些年来…
自己得到些什么？失去些什么？
自己记得些什么？忘记些什么？
 自己相信些什么？否定些什么？

或许…那是自己正在寻找着的“答案”吧。

All these years…
What have I obtained? What have I lost?
What have I remembered? What have I forgotten?
What have I believed? What have I rejected?

Maybe… That’s the “answer” that I’m searching for.

For those who is wondering what happen during the past two weeks, well… a lot of things happened lately: Internally and externally. It’s even hard enough to stuff all my feelings in a just a post or two.

Anyway, here are the major ones that should be of much concern (either to myself or those who are reading this): - Experience very fluctuating emotions after my last poem post. Although it’s not that hard to predict it’s still me boiling up all those unresolved issues of the past that seems to need some sort of closure. But somehow I’m starting to see the importance of it, well, in a way, and that seeking closure from within is no simple task. It’s really hard to bear a lot of guilt and pain …

虽然生病的时候，会很痛苦，还可能会失去很宝贵的东西，但因如此会让我们一窥真正更宝贵的东西。

还真是有些时候，也要懂得让自己休息一下。:)

Although during sickness, it will make us feel tortured, and it might even cause us to lose something very dear to us, but because of this it’ll give us a glimpse of what’s even more precious and important to us.

And really, sometimes, we just need to learn to rest ourselves. 😊
