I’m wondering whether my energy was expended/burned out too fast, a very late night sleep, reading thick manuals or a combination of these factors made me very sleepy throughout the day x_x.

New challenge: to find ways to keep my energy levels balanced.

A lot of times, I felt as if I haven’t had much choice… A lot of times, all I can do is to talk with you, but I know very well that… there’re times that I’m an outsider, I can’t help much.

Anyway.

This Chinese New Year has been a very relaxing and peaceful one, without much events, drama or excitements. But going back to my hometown is always a nostalgic experience as if I have returned to the times when I was a kid. It’s very hard to describe those feelings actually, but as the saying goes, “home is where the heart lies”, living with my parents always has a special significance in me.

Nothing much to shout about, really, as my Chinese New Year is almost all about spending time with family and friends, having a good time with friends playing Mahjongg, catching up with the latest news and gossips as well as spending more time relaxing. Here I am now: back in my aunt’s house in Petaling Jaya.

Will talk about my Chinese New Year back in my hometown (Kuala Kangsar) later, but just wanted to post something about the most grossest thing that happened in the house: Ants have been building an anthill inside the flushing rim O_O||. It’s like… EWW! Seeing ants crawling everywhere on the toilet bowl and when I flushed it to see what happened, at least hundreds or a thousand of live ants (!!) floats on top of the water, with them sticking together making some sort of a raft (or black patches, from my point of view).

Somehow I scooped them out and let them roam free to find a new home. But the experience still gives me the shivers.

Moral of story: Wash …

I’m back home after a 4 hour ride + traffic jam :). Having a very slooooooow connection here (14.4K, geez!)~

Got into our “temporary” shelter today (aka my uncle’s ex-house) while my real home was now in shambles, making way for a new home to be built on the same plot of land. Getting used to the new home isn’t much a problem, just that the only problem is that I don’t know where everything is kept now. Guess that just needs time relearning and adjusting myself :).

The new home is expected to be completed around March, by the way.

Will be going back to Kuala Kangsar (my hometown) for Chinese New Year later at 6pm MYT. I won’t be updating much for the next week as I foresee that I’ll be really busy especially on the first few days of Chinese New Year :).

Will post updates and photographs once I get back on 5 Febuary ;).

Other than that, today’s a busy day as I sort through all the bills and finances. Getting a new set of rechargeable batteries later, hopefully they will work on my digital camera or I’ll have myself stuck with the not-so-environmentally-friendly alkalines :p.

Squee~ I just won SEB 159, Maharaja Night Hi-NRG Revolution Vol. 14 & 15 and SUPER EURO GROOVE. On top of my previous winnings, that means 6 CDs for this month! Not to mention that this time round I’m going to have some newer Eurobeat releases this time round (instead of getting stuck at around the 1995 Eurobeat era).

I’m just so excited about this! 😄

Feeling as if I have lost direction: Unable to proceed, yet unable to turn back either. Mixed signals, jumbled up information everywhere… As if I have no idea what’s going on around me.

Is it the changes around me that I’m unaware of? Or is it an illusion of my creation? Or is it that I see things differently nowadays…?

Hmm… After I saw the sleek Canon Powershot S80, I was tempted to buy a new digital camera. But when the reality check steps in, the idea of actually getting one is more than a fantasy than reality at this point of time. But since I’m in the mood, I did some window shopping online and check what alternatives that I had.
