Just a Short Statement About Yesterday
It’s been a while I haven’t felt so tired (physically, and probably stressed as well) that just lying on the bed is a pure paradise to me.
And now I’m be starting another working day. 😊
Slogging Through
Everyday, I just feel as if my work gets more and more challenging along the way, but it doesn’t seem to be too daunting as I’m starting to find my direction towards my research project.
Anyway, CD of the month is Ayumi Hamasaki’s MY STORY Classical :). And all I can say that the album rocks. Now the only quirk I had is that Ayu’s voice doesn’t seem to fit really well with a grand orchestra… at least the first few tracks anyway as I just feel that her vocals just go out of place (more like as if her vocals seems to be “superimposed” or pasted into the classical mix). And I was pretty disappointed with GAME as I feel that her vocals are best replaced by string instruments instead …

Happy mother’s day to all mothers in the world :). Raising kids is always the hardest, most challenging task in the whole wide world in the first place.
Anyway, just came back from a talk just now. OK, honestly it is supposed to be a graduation night of my friend, and it turns out to be a graduation night of a short course in Crown Vision International. And for those who knows pretty well, that means that it just have to a lot of Amway stuff. But somehow after going through the whole thing, I’m starting to see why these people are so enthusiastic about it and manage to attract people to it. And I’m starting to see and understand what the business and management books are all hyping about: That one of …

After finishing Linus Trovalds’ book “Just for Fun” within 10 hours time, it really give me some time to actually think about my own life. Basically for the uninitiated, Linus Trovalds is the who brought Linux into the computing world and Just for Fun is basically 80% of “crappy” (in his own words, after one statement which goes something like ‘once the readers got hooked with the first few pages of the book, we can just fill the rest of it with crap’… Or probably I’m just having a bad memory in recalling the exact quote, since the book is not with me) yet extremely fun biography and the remaining 20% filling with his serious thoughts on issues about open source and his views in life.
Honestly speaking I was thinking of dedicate a …

(Highlighted in yellow) Should I read this as two real movie titles or one very suggestive (yet imaginary) movie title? XDDD
I believe sometimes all these little details about web design can be extremely crucial in presenting information. As much I understand these kind of information tickers have a really strict space constraint on the page, however the table could use some wider column spacing, at least a pixel width slightly more than one character space.
OK, off to work now!
1001 Blunders
New work, new environment, and I really SWEAR that my absent-mindedness needs a cure desperately!
More challenges ahead of me as I found myself in several odd and embarrassing situations while I’m still trying to adapt with the things around me. The worst part is that I slept in the office and I got caught by my boss O_O”. Luckily he took it with a sense of humour but GOD I’m so embarrassed about it. Must sleep earlier this time round.
As I’m entering my second day, I still have a very high mountain to climb up as I need to learn as soon as possible so that I can be anywhere from being slightly productive to the company. But for now I’m just glad enough that my colleagues are extremely …

Let me use one word to describe how I feel about my first day at the job: STUNNED! O_O”
And so today is the beginning of my first full-time job I ever accepted. Somehow there’s a lot of things that I really need adapting, especially when it comes to my sleeping habits. It’s like… I NEVER wake up as early as 6 in the morning in my whole life, not to mention that I have to wake up only with the help of alarm clocks! Even during the days of my primary and high school years, I only need to wake up 6:30 in the morning, and that is pretty much done reluctantly after being woke up by my parents (of course, I really missed those days. 😊 ).
One good thing I really …

Woa~ Time does flies :). I’ll be reporting for work tomorrow. Kinda nervous actually.
Yesterday has been a little bit tiring as I shop for formal working clothes (you know, shirts and slacks). As I shop for them, I’m kinda tempted to get some really sexy undies to go with it, but I held back after reassessing my wallet :p. Probably I’ll get them next time :).
Guess that’s pretty much it. I’m hoping the best for tomorrow :).
Steamboat Galore
Yesterday’s steamboat dinner with Dr Tay and the gang is really fun :). We went to a steamboat restaurant called Strangers in SS2 and we had their delicious all-you-can-eat steamboat buffet. Yum! Not to mention I’m pretty much stuffed with all the food and desserts there. <333
Let’s don’t forget the quality time we spent together chatting away :).
And… Pictures! 😄 It’s only two though since I didn’t get the permission (at least not yet) to post the fun pictures while we are having the steamboat dinner. Sooo~~~

Today’s Drifting Thought (Part II): When Feelings Start to Flood Back
[:: Update: Honestly speaking I really wonder whether I should have put this as friends-only or not… I really hope that my decision of putting this up on public is the right thing to do, as much I know how risky this is… ::]
One of the main reasons that I’m so excited this week is that I get to spend time with Choon Hui for almost the whole week, as much everything have to deal with school’s stuff and I really hoped that I can get some good, personal and private time with him (as much I know how hard this is for me to achieve).
And it’s kind of good that he has pretty much be in good terms with me, although he does seem to isolate himself from me when we …
