OMG! These came into the mail today <333

'New Haul'

These two albums mean a lot to me as I remembered that my first favourite Eurobeat artist is Dave Rodgers, and the bonus disc of SEB97 has the most powerful Eurobeat tunes in extended format! 😄 (Cherry’s Yesterday <333) I guess I’ll be having my headphones on for quite some time these days :).

Anyway, today’s maryadavies birthday! 😄 All my best wishes for the coming years to you! 😊

A Loss of Focus

Life

It’s been four days now after my dreaded sickness and now I’m still having some really bad stomach pain today which slightly affect my own well-being. I find myself cursing at it a lot and prayed that I’ll get better ASAP. (Hopefully…)

And due to my own lack of appetite, it does seems that my glucose intake is insufficient for my brain activity, which makes me hard to concentrate as well as having the dizzy sensation. Bleh…

In other news, my convocation date is set at 6 August 2005, and this time round I’ll make sure I’ll attend it with my family (since I missed my college graduation last time). And a new colleague just joined in this week :), he does seem quiet and kinda cold on the outset for …

Through The Lens: The Flooding Red of Sundown

'The Flooding Red of Sundown' by Seh Hui

Art

Well… Probably I don’t think I’ll keep up with the photo entrée concept at the point of time due to several reason, so I think I might add another category to fill in those scenes that I really liked when I manage to grab my camera ;).

Anyway, these are taken yesterday and it’s one of the rare occasions that the sundown covers the whole city in reddish hues, and I really find it lovely (well… although it DID gave me the creeps at the same time, no thanks to fiction XDDD). I was still feeling weak at the moment so these photographs are taken from places near my bed (I do wished that I can walk outside though).

Anyway, I forgot to mention something except for the sheer amount of pills I have to take for the next few days (which is almost close to 15, triple to what I usually have to take as dietary supplements): I just got my final semester results and I’m really proud with it :). Here’s the rundown:

  • Combinatronics: B+
  • Parallel Processing: A
  • Virtual Reality: A-
  • Final Year Project: A

Yeah baby! v(^o^)v

When The Worse of Conditions Drags The Whole Stage Down

Seh Hui Leong

Life

In case anyone is wondering what happened for the past two days, I have a the worst case of illness for the years that I can remember. Probably because of a nastier flu or food poisoning. Sparing you with the gruesome details, all I can say that these two days I have been having a fever, two occasions of vomit, endless stream of diarrhoea (GOD this is hard to spell!), nasty bloating together with lots of burping, lost of appetite, having my head feeling like a helium ballon in one occassion and other minor nuisances.

Just don’t ask me any sort of Nickolodeon-style “gross” questions :p.

But somehow I feel a lot better after this, physically (well… not quite, as I’m still recovering from it) and emotionally. As if some burden has been …

The Element of Constrast

Seh Hui Leong

Life

Just came back from watching Mr and Mrs Smith with Jacob. 😊 They movie is a good watch, honestly I was expecting more action than comedy but it turns out to be a comedy with some action elements in it. The great thing I really liked about the movie is that it uses a lot of elements of contrast in the whole movie: everything including the visuals, character development, plot, the pacing of the movie… the most interesting part is how they twist the man/woman stereotype in certain aspects that make Pitt and Jolie interesting to watch 😊 (probably I would say that they are dysfunctional from my own point of view :p).

However, as said, it’s only a good comedy, not a great one. The jokes are more like “OMG! Did she/he do …

When A Change Might Mean A Busy Chore

Life

Theen Gee left this morning as I was still asleep, he left a note hoping me to take care of myself. It’s been two months having a room mate and his departure does make me kinda lonely this morning.

But today I just took the initiative to clean up the room, as I do notice that my own room is a total disaster. Probably some things are more noticeable when the absence of some things. And so I almost spent the whole day rearranging my stuff, sweeping away the piling dusts, give the floor the finishing mop as well as clearing away some of the junk that I have kept all this while. It now looks much more cleaner right now :). At least it’s much more agreeable now (as in, for a person …

Today’s Drifting Thoughts: Chances

Reflections

Originally posted as my reply to a post, but I would love to share this with everybody:

[:: quote from a friend ::]

Translation:

Today I might have missed one of the most important chance in life. Looking back, I had missed a lot of chances in the past, but it’s not that I didn’t mind at all, but it’s that I never grasp these chances well, never treasured them; or should I say that by the time I wanted to grab it, the chance has already slipped away.

This reminds me of these classic words again: There was a time that an important chance is being placed in front of me …

With a Heavy Heart

Seh Hui Leong

Life

Yesterday wasn’t really a good day for me as I found myself having a heavy heart for no apparent reason (well… there might be a reason, but it’s really something that I can’t really comprehend well, in a sense) Sometimes I do wonder whether people can influence each other feelings, even just by being close to them. But probably there’s just too much not-so-happy incidents happening to my friends that I’m really concern about them.

Anyway, Theen Gee, who has been my roommate for 2 months, will be moving as his industrial training is over (and his semester is going to start on next month). There’ll be a farewell dinner for him tonight. That pretty much means that I’ll having the room for myself, which I really have …

Revival Of A Gamer

Seh Hui Leong

Life

The good thing is that Grandia II (PC) came into the mail yesterday. The bad thing is that because of that I’m late for work (i.e. played Grandia II until late at night). ^-^|| The initial battle with Millenia bug really wasted my time XDDD.

I wonder what will happen if I happened to get Final Fantasy IX (PS) next month…? 😛

Anyway, for those who frequent eBay for games, I really need to know how am I suppose to recognize a legit copy of the game from bootlegs? Your help will be greatly appreciated ^-^b.
