All of a sudden it just seems that there’s a sickness monster hiding somewhere in my office. And so it goes that ever since last week, my colleague got struck with sickness one by one in a continuous fashion. If collapsing can be used to describe somebody gotten ill, probably this situation can be described as the “Domino Effect”. Heh :p.

In other news, I woke up today having a minor back pain on the right side of my waist, which proves to be much more of an annoyance to me as I try to do anything that involves streching the muscles around the waist. Ouch…

It’s hard to say how I feel today as there’s going to be major future changes in our department. Well… It’s not really major actually, but basically we might be shifting to another floor some time soon, although the details were yet to be confirmed. As much as everything is still uncertain just yet, but somehow I just feel that there’ll be a possibility that yearns for my attention, but yet I can’t tell what it actually is. It does worries me a lot somehow for quite some time until I reached home…

Anyway, I’m anticipating this challenge to arrive, and I guess the time has come for me to pursue what I have sought.

W00t! 😄 The karaoke outing is really fun! Just a recap, I went for a karaoke outing of seven persons, which includes two of my friends (cum colleague, I think I’ll refer them as “friends” from now on 😊 ), Sook Lan and Sze Hau. Spending three hours of quality entertainment time does gave me a great sense of fun as well as a dry throat. What really excites me is that Red Box (the karaoke that we went to) have some newer Ayu songs, namely CAROLS and Moments :). So I’m in a Ayu singing craze when I was there :D. But currently I would really want to explore some English and Chinese pop songs to sing, it would be much fun with a broader selection of songs that I could sing (and, after all, the …

Just a quickie about yesterday: - Went to the bank to get one of my saving account closed (I’m starting to have too much bank accounts to handle), then transfer some funds to fixed deposit. Currently I’m starting my own financial plans… although it’s more of an ad hoc kind of plan :p.

Today had been a very jerky day to me as I find myself stumbling through the day with some communication problem on my part. Honestly speaking there’s no big problem that arise from it, but sometimes I just feel a bit left out, inferior and frustrated when I can’t seem to voice my thoughts out well as well as trying to get in tuned with the conversation that is going on. At times like this I really get kinda jealous with those with good communication skills like my friends (cum colleague) Sook Lan and Eng Lee (I suppose it’s a good time for me to introduce a few more people in my own life 😊 ).

But seeing that I’m not gifted in this department, I guess tomorrow’s another day for me …

Just out of some sort of excitement I finally get to realize one of my smaller dreams of commitment: getting a .com for myself :). So now I have just paid for felixleong.com, it will take around 24-72 hours before it gets live, but then again I have nothing to post on that site just yet :p.

This should give me enough motivation to start my own web project that I always wanted to expand :). (my manga drawing tutorial site, Felix Leong:PEDAGOGIES, being part of that big project)

In other news, I just finished with cleaning the window grills, which the dust count in my room has dropped significantly. Currently planning to clear up my computer table area, and I will post before and after pictures once I got everything done :).

Speaking of the 2005 makeover plans, it’s been quite some time I haven’t done much about it lately. Well… seeing that I’m going to stick with my physical appearance for some time (well… since I can’t find enough reason to spend more on these stuff as I find myself spending much less time going out lately), so I’m currently spending time cleaning up my own living space and see whether it’ll bring a change in lifestyle (Hmm… Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, anyone? :p)

I’m not entirely sure whether I interpreted “overcritical” correctly (but assuming that comes from your more direct style of communication you had with people either when people pour their problems out to you, or that you can’t agree on one’s action/decision about something)

If I’m correct at my definition, I personally perceive that it’s not much of a big problem actually, as you said that it’s only miscommunication that causes it. It will happen in one way or the other.

Coming back, basically being direct in your communication doesn’t make you a less nuturing or perfect friend. Well… or probably “being direct” doesn’t make your friends misunderstood you, but I guess you get …

I’m feeling happy today, that’s pretty much what I have to say regarding today. Somehow seeing the happiness in an environment and the smiles on the people around you are really irreplaceable and priceless. And the pride I had for my family has always gave me a lot of strength to go through a lot of hardships as well as making me proud for who I am and where I came from.

But somehow at this moment of extreme joy, for some reason that I’m a little bit concerned about the well being of others. Probably I’m just a worry-wart from the start, but somehow… to what extent that we should be concerned about others, especially when it comes to things that are outside your own reach of control or of …

Just went back to my parents’ place during the weekend, although I was expecting some relaxation, but in the end it turns out to be quite the opposite as I find myself going out places to meet up with some of my high school friends :). But it has been good times.
